Work description

Skuba Ukraine LLC is a leading company in the wholesale and retail trade of spare parts for trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, and buses from European manufacturers.

Job Requirements:

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with company goals and minimize costs.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage goods movement, and ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or surpluses.

Supplier Relations: Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms.

Cost Management: Implement measures to reduce costs related to procurement and inventory management, using metrics to improve procurement efficiency.

Contract and Risk Management: Negotiate supplier contracts, manage risks, and ensure compliance with internal company policies and external regulations.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and meet business needs.


Responsibilities:

  • ensure the availability of products in optimal quantities and assortment.
  • achieve planned turnover rates.
  • search for suppliers and explore new supplier offers.
  • negotiate with suppliers and agree on supply terms with direct management.
  • prepare purchase orders for suppliers.
  • monitor order fulfillment.
  • track sales of each product and collaborate with the sales department to take action when sales decline to
  • reduce inventory levels.
  • identify product types to introduce or phase out from the assortment due to lack of viability.
  • determine the minimum stock levels of products and ensure the required quantities are available in the company’s warehouse.
  • ensure the continuous availability of high-demand products and regularly monitor stock and sales to avoid shortages.
  • provide all necessary product information to company departments and services.
